Winsor & Newton Galeria Fluid Retarder 250ML
Winsor & Newton Acrylic Mediums enable artists to fully explore the versatility of acrylics by extending and enhancing colour, as well as improving flow and brush ability. With the assistance of the mediums W&N Acrylics can be used in a fluid, gestural manner (similar to watercolour) as well as in heavier applications (similar to oils), and they can be shaped and carved, used for printmaking, or virtually any other technique.
Winsor and Newton Fluid Retarder prolongs the drying and working time of acrylic colours, allowing you to work on your artwork for longer. A small amount (a few drops) mixed with acrylic paint allows for extensive blending and manipulation. Because fluid retarder does not contain enough acrylic resin to act as an additional “Binder,” it should be used only in the amount required to achieve the desired effect.
